Jeffrey Bewley has an M.S. in Dairy Science from UW-Madison, and a PhD in Animal Sciences from Purdue University.
Considered an expert in such subjects as animal health economics, mastitis management and prevention, freepost barn construction, compost bedded pack barn construction and precision dairy monitoring technology, Bewley has made his mark within both the academic community and the private sector.
Jeffrey Bewley’s work experience includes:
- Nine years as Milkhand/Recordkeeper at Skees and Flowers Dairy.
- Three months as Interim Herd Manager at Driefontein Melkery in Middleburg, South Africa.
- Nearly two years as Services Manager at PerforMix Nutrition Systems.
- Nearly ten years as Extension Professor at the University of Kentucky.
- Seven months as Support Manager at Bovisync.
Bewley currently works as Consultant at CowFocused Housing, and as Dairy Housing and Analytics Specialist at Alltech. He has served in both roles since 2018.
